Ok, true, November is a long way away. It would be a bit presumptuous to celebrate an electoral victory just yet. But I think it’s important that we celebrate our Democratic ideals at every step in this journey. Our shared vision for a just and equitable society, with a high value placed on education is worth fighting for. One way we do that is celebrating. We should stand proud of what we see as possible and work diligently to ensure it becomes a reality for our children and for our children’s children.
